Introduction to Second Grade Life Science- Seeds

This Second Grade Life Science- Seeds lesson allows students to explore seed dispersal and biodiversity through a fun series of hands-on projects.   Introduce the students to the topic by reading the book A Seed is Sleepy by Dianna Hutts Aston.  Then you will complete worksheets and projects to give the students an understanding of the ecology and adaptations behind seed dispersal mechanisms.  Wrap up the lesson with an assessment which covers the lesson objectives and the NGSS.*
