Empire State Building 3D Puzzle Introduction
I wasn’t sure what to think about this Empire State Building 3D Puzzle when Jack got it for Christmas. I had never done a 3D puzzle before and I had no idea how it would work.
It turns out this puzzle was just challenging enough for Jack, who is 5. We got the 38-piece puzzle, there are others with a lot more pieces, which I think would have been too frustrating for Jack.

What does the Empire State Building 3D Puzzle come with?
This puzzle included:
-a black plastic stand with different colored LED lights
-foam/cardboard puzzle pieces
-directions and information pamphlet
-clear plexiglass support pieces for inside the puzzle
These are the directions on the left and the information card on the right. The information card taught Jack how tall the Empire State Building is and when it was built. He now goes around telling people his new fun fact that the Empire State Building is taller than the Eiffel Tower.
The unboxing video!
Here is our exciting unboxing video!
Having fun putting together this puzzle…
We started by putting together the cardboard stand. The whole puzzle will sit on the black plastic stand which houses the LED lights.
Something we didn’t realize at first was that we had to remove the paper coverings on the clear plexiglass.
It’s coming along…
Some of the smaller pieces were a little tricky, but we figured it out.
Here is Jack putting the last piece on the puzzle!
Now to light it up just place the Empire State Building 3D Puzzle on the black plastic stand with the LED lights. It even changes color! So cool…
We extended the fun by taking our puzzle and building the rest of the NYC skyline around it with our blocks.
